Yvonne Marie Sheehan,72, died on Monday (July 31, 2017) at her son’s home in Plato, Missouri, after a brief illness.
Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service where Yvonne and her husband, Bill, will be laid to rest together at 11 a.m. on Monday (August 7) at St. Agnes Cemetery in Clifton Springs with the Rev. Brian Fellows officiating. A celebration of Yvonne’s life will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday evening at Phelps American Legion.
It is requested that memorial contributions be made in Yvonne’s memory to the House of John, 14 Spring Street, Clifton Springs NY 14432.
Yvonne was born on September 6, 1944, the daughter of the late Frank and Alma Galens DeWilde. She loved her family and was proud to be a grandma.
She is survived by her children Todd (Sharon) Ruggles of Plato, Missouri, Terri Goodman of Waterloo, Shelley (Kelly) Sheehan-Christensen of Phelps; James Sheehan of Clifton Springs; brother, Roger (Cindy) DeWilde of Clifton Springs; brother-in-law, Jim Sheehan of Clifton Springs, nine grandchildren Matthew, Mattson and Todd Ruggles Jr., Payton Ruggles, Joseph and Alex Goodman, Derek Eggleton, Jeremiah, Eddie and Tiffany Peterson; six great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her husband William Sheehan and Sister Carol Kenyon.
Funeral arrangements have been made with the Cheney Funeral Home, 70 Main Street, Phelps.
