The City of Auburn along with the Cayuga County Homsite Development Corporation and Syracuse-based Home HeadQuarters will be holding a summit on August 15 to help banks, mortgage brokers, realtors and other stakeholders with dealing with foreclosures and so-called zombie properties in the city. Senior planner Rene Jensen tells FLNR they’ll get an overview of a program with a catchy name.
Jensen adds the city is also helping property owners avoid foreclosure.
The Auburn Bank Summit will be from 8:30am until 10:30am at the Hilton Garden Inn. You can get more information and learn how to register at the city’s website.
