The investigation into a suspected methamphetamine lab at a home on State Route 54 in Steuben County resulted in the arrest of a Bath man.
When State Police responded to the residence, they discovered materials used in the production of meth, but determined the lab to be inactive. Alan Sherry, Junior, was at the home when State Police investigated and was found to be in possession of cocaine, as well as suboxone. He was charged with felony and misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance.
Following his arraignment, Sherry was sent to Steuben County Jail without bail.
