
Mrs. Roma Worden Ide, 100, of 12 Willard St., Auburn, passed away May 3, 2015.
A native and lifelong Auburn resident, Roma was the only child of Edward and Rose Lynch Worden. Roma had a zest for life, family, and friends. She always enjoyed a good laugh.
A lifelong member and active volunteer at St. Mary’s Church, Roma was also a 20 year volunteer for Mercy Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Her husband, Joseph, passed away in 1995.
Surviving is a daughter, Faith Rose Mc Laughlin and her husband, Gary, of Little Rock, Ark.; son-in-law, Bill Johnson, of Atlanta, Ga.; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; many cousins; special niece, Peggy Ide Mullally, and several great-nieces.
She was predeceased by two daughters, Mary Sue Ide, and Susan M. Johnson; husband and parents.
A memorial Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, July 27, 2017 in St. Mary’s Church, Auburn. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
