On July 20, 2017, at about 12:04pm, Seneca County Sheriff’s Investigators arrested Kelly A. Kaufman, age 39, of 2133 Routes 5&20, Apartment 26B, Seneca Falls, New York, on a charge related to a welfare fraud investigation. It is alleged that Kaufman filed false paperwork with Seneca County and failed to disclose household income while attempting to receive benefits from Seneca County. Kaufman was charged with one count of Offering a False Instrument for Filing in the First Degree, a Class E Felony. Kaufman was issued an appearance ticket and is to appear in the Waterloo Village on August, 16, 2017 at 5pm.
