Corning Incorporated has reached an agreement with pharmaceutical giants Pfizer and Merck to produce a new type of glass for storing and delivering injectable drugs. President Donald Trump unveiled the agreement during the White House’s “Made in America” Week. Congressman Tom Reed spoke about the agreement at his manufacturing summit Friday at Finger Lakes Community College.
Reed said the President personally tried the new product.
Corning will initially invest 500 million dollars in the project, a move that will create a thousand new U.S. jobs.
