It took a Chemung County jury less than an hour to convict a 27 year old Elmira man of shooting 5 people at an Elmira bar last summer.
Zecary Banks was found guilty on all 8 counts, including attempted second-degree murder, criminal possession of a weapon and firearms, and five counts of assault.
The July 28th shooting at Patrick’s Bar on College Avenue hospitalized five people. One of the victims was a resident of a rehab center for an extended period of time as a result of the shooting. The other 4 were all released from the hospital.
Banks will be sentenced September 8th
