Geneva will soon be known for gourmet meals delivered right to your home. Real Eats, a New York City company, has moved into production kitchens at the Geneva Enterprise Development Center, the old American Can Plant on Genesee Street. Real Eats CEO Dan Wise says their food delivery is different than other companies.
Wise says because all you have to do is boil water, the dinners always are perfect.
Wise says he came up with the concept for real eats as a busy father trying to make sure his kids ate well.
Running the kitchen is Marco Ballatori, he is the former executive chef at the Belhurst Castle.
They are starting out slow, but they hope to build a customer base of 25,000 to 30,000 per week, which would mean they would be making upwards of 75,000 meals each week.
