It’s happened again. Kids left alone in the Lego’s store at the Eastview Mall.
Two women, who are sisters, were ticketed for leaving their two young children at the Lego store in Eastview Mall unattended for two hours. A similar incident happened at the same store earlier this month.
Ontario County Sheriff’s deputies say 54-year old Yaquelina Rosario De Hernandez, and 48-year old Francisca Lopez, left their 7 and 9 year old children in the store yesterday. The women then allegedly went shopping for several hours, leaving the kids with no way of contacting them.
Deputies said store employees alerted mall security after observing the children in the store unsupervised for about 20-30 minutes. Several pages went out over the mall loud speaker, but the parents didn’t respond.
De Hernandez, who lives in the Dominican Republic, and Lopez, of Henrietta, were issued appearance tickets for Victor Town Court. Earlier this month a 44-year-old Pittsford mother was charged for leaving her 10-year-old boy at the Lego store for two hours.
