Geneva, New York—Volunteers are needed for this year’s Cubby Chase. Now in its 9th year, the Cubby Chase is a 5K, 10K, and Kids Color Mile Race that benefits the Geneva General Child Care Center and the Autism Center at Ontario ARC. This year’s event will be held Saturday, July 29 at 8:30 a.m. at the Jim Dooley Center for Early Learning on the Geneva General Hospital campus.
The Cubby Chase event is a wonderful showcase of wellness and community spirit, and we invite you to gather your colleagues and/or friends together to take part in this special day.
Volunteer opportunities available include:
- Course Monitors (Road Marshals)
- Bicycle Rangers
- Water Stations (get a few friends together and cheer on the runners!)
- Food Tent & Hospitality
- Color Mile Sprayers
- Children’s Activities
- Finish Line, Awards
- Prepare Race Packets & T-shirts
- Race Course Marking
- Set-up – Friday, July 28
- Recycling, Trash Clean-up
