After a week off, Auburn City Council gets back to work on Thursday. Among the agenda items for Thursday’s meting are votes on a pair of project bids and one to accept a grant for upgrades at Falcon Park.
Council will vote on authorizations for bids for the North Street water main project and for this year’s Community Development Block Grant sidewalk program. They’ll also vote to authorize Mayor Quill to accept a $340,000 State and Municipal Facilities Program grant from the New York State Dormitory Authority for upgrades to the home and visitors clubhouses at the ballpark. It’s part of a community projects appropriation request through Senator John DeFrancisco’s office.
Don’t forget, with the city on summer hours the council meeting gets underway at 5:00pm, not the usual 6:00pm start time.
